Jennifer is a bilingual Dental Hygienist from Northern Ontario. In 2000, at the age of 17, she enrolled in the Dental Assisting program (Windsor). In 2003, she graduated with honors from the Hygiene program at Cambrian College (Sudbury).
A courageous decision was made to relocate to Alberta after graduation. Jennifer’s knowledge, skills and technique expanded for 10 years in Fort McMurray before settling in Calgary in 2014. She has self-trained, with pride, to work efficiently and effectively within the diversity of Alberta’s population. Her passion for oral and overall health during the past 20 years led her to pursue her career in the specialty of Periodontics.
Jennifer values supporting and educating her patients, as well as providing comprehensive oral care with compassion. It has been her career long dream to establish a dental hygiene clinic, and it is now her privilege to provide oral health care Independently. When Jennifer is not motivating the public and enhancing smiles, she finds comfort in cooking, weightlifting, and has recently explored gardening and wine making.
As a child, Debbie was absolutely terrified of dental visits. When she graduated, she had an interest in Health Care and her pursuits led her to a career as a Dental Assistant. What better way to eliminate her fear of dentistry than to work in the field! As a Dental Assistant, Debbie understood dental anxiety and could help her patients with understanding and compassion. She will always greet them with a great big smile and “HELLO”. Debbie has been in Dentistry for over 35 years. She was a Dental Assistant for 28 years with the same dentist. After he retired, she took several years away yet found herself longing to return so she established a position in administration. Debbie enjoys her role immensely and is proud to be able to share helpful information with her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their three fur babies, Muffin, Buster and Bella. During the winter months, she enjoys painting and arts & crafts. In the summer, Debbie enjoys gardening and golfing with family and friends. Their dream is to retire to Vancouver Island, where she will include fishing to their list of daily enjoyments.
